Jakob Hegner

Jakob Hegner ist Drummer, Produzent und Mixing Engineer in Personalunion und lebt in Berlin. Neben seiner Arbeit mit der eigenen Band LELÉKA produziert und spielt er Drums für die Crossover/R&B Sängerin EVÎN und andere Künstler der Berliner Szene.Seine Grooves sind inspiriert von Jazz, Hiphop und D‘n‘B.

Jakob Hegner is a drummer, producer and mixing engineer born and based in Berlin. Born in 1995 he started playing the drums when he was 5 years old. After school he studied jazz drums at the University of Music Dresden under Prof. Sebastian Merk and Eric Schäfer.
His Band LELÉKA won the 10th Burghauser Jazzprice 2018 and was nominated for the German Jazzprice in the category band of the year 2022. Mixed and produced by himself their last album “Sonce u Serci” was a critical acclaimed release in the european jazz scene and lead to touring festivals like Elbjazz or Jazzahead. He works as a drummer and producer for the crossover/R&B singer EVÎN, with whom he released the EVÎN EP in 2022, championed by Notion, C-Heads Magazine or 1LIVE. Since he moved back to Berlin he focuses on creating, merging his jazz backround with hiphop. He started working with different Artists of the Berlin music scene like Fraen Again, Nando the Native, Nomé and Feven Yoseph. 2022 he became a resident at the Riverside Studios Berlin.
